After large amounts of rain fell on the city of Al-Bayda, Libyan Prime Minister Osama Hammad directed all competent authorities to follow up on the situation, ensure that it does not get out of control and take all measures to protect and rescue stranded citizens.

The directives came to evacuate all houses located in the path of valleys that may be exposed to heavy rain in the area, in addition to directing the public services companies, water and sanitation, and the National Safety Authority, to move to the city, and take the necessary precautionary measures, to avoid any damage that may result from rainfall and the flow of valleys.
