Libyan House of Representatives member Abdel Moneim al-Orfi said that the political situation in the country will not change and will remain the same until the government of Abdelhamid Dabaiba changes.

The High Council of State’s attempt to open a file and discuss sovereign positions at the present time is only a prolongation of the crisis, especially since the current talk locally and internationally is a new government to reach elections,” al-Orfi said in press statements.

The deputy added, ‘No session has been held, nor will be held, to discuss sovereign positions, not even a session for any consultations, and it will be postponed due to the lack of a legal quorum and confrontations.’

Al-Arafi pointed out that ‘the head of the High Council of State, Mohamed Tikala, and Abdul Hamid al-Dbeibah are trying to unify the front with the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, and there are meetings, as we were informed by the leadership of Sadik al-Ghariani, to mend the rift between them.’
