A member of the Libyan House of Representatives, Abdel Moneim Al-Arfi, announced that the upcoming meeting in Morocco will be held in light of internal unrest and several tensions.

The meeting will bring together the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, the President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, and the Head of the State Council, Mohamed Takala.

Al-Arfi confirmed that the meeting will take place on the basis of the constants and foundations that were agreed upon in Cairo, stressing the necessity of working internally and with the assistance of the League of Arab States and neighboring countries to hold the elections.

He expressed his doubts about the ability of international envoys to provide solutions to the Libyan people, considering that they are working to recycle the crisis instead of resolving it.

The meeting is scheduled to be held between the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President of the Council of State in Morocco in mid-July.
