Libyan Minister of Education Musa Muhammad Al-Maqrif met Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexander Pankin on the sidelines of 42nd session of the UNESCO General Conference, held in Paris.
The meeting addressed a number of important issues, like the possibility of Libyan students obtaining Russian scholarships in the field of medicine and scholarships in various specializations.
The two parties discussed aspects of expanding exchange of expertise, promoting access to information within the framework of the UNESCO Information for All programme, and transferring Russian developments to contribute to preserving Libya’s documentary heritage.
