Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development in the Government of National Unity of Libya Mabrouka Togui, visited the 55th edition of the Cairo International Book Fair, which opened its activities at the Egypt International Exhibition and Conference Center on January 24 and continues until February 6.

Togui praised Libya’s participation in the fair, confirming the ministry’s keenness to participate in Arab and international cultural events and its interest in supporting Libyan writers and literature.

During her tour of the fair, Togui visited the Libyan pavilion, as well as the pavilions of the Egyptian ministries of defense and interior. She also visited several Arab publishing houses and met with Libyan publishers participating in the fair.

Togui commended the fair, which attracts broad Arab and international interest, considering it a good opportunity for the world to open up to Libyan culture.
