The Libyan Administrative Control Authority announced on Tuesday that its chairman, Abdullah Qadirboh, met with his Egyptian counterpart, Amr Adel, in Cairo on Monday.
The meeting aimed to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two bodies in facing common challenges in the field of combating corruption and enhancing integrity.
According to the Administrative Supervisory Authority’s Facebook page, the meeting dealt with enhancing joint capabilities and skills in dealing with these vital issues, and developing a common unified vision that will be the basis for future coordination between the two bodies.
The Authority stressed the importance of building the capacities of cadres working in the field of preventing and combating corruption, and making the most of advanced scientific frameworks, previous experiences, and accumulated expertise in this field.
The Authority stressed that this meeting reflects the commitment of the regulatory authorities to cooperate and coordinate jointly and opens wide horizons to enhance work between them and achieve common interests in the field of issues addressed.
The Authority concluded by expecting that this meeting will pave the way for the development of effective strategies and programs to meet future challenges in the field of combating corruption and promoting integrity.
