Libyan political analyst Abdulaziz Agnia has expressed fears that the outgoing government of Abdelhamid Dabaiba is involved in deals linked to the notorious US security firm Blackwater.

These statements came through a post by his song on the platform “Facebook”, where he pointed to the danger of interference by foreign security companies in the Libyan arena.

Agnieh stressed in his remarks that the government’s involvement in deals with private security companies such as Blackwater may lead to more internal tensions and conflicts, noting that the mission of these companies may include taming armed groups, which may exacerbate the security situation in the country.

He added that turning Libya into an arena for international and regional conflicts is a dangerous step and may lead to the fragmentation of the country and the impoverishment of its people, calling for the unification of the national ranks to save the country from this tragic situation, as he put it.
