The Ministry of Interior in the Libyan government, mandated by the House of Representatives headed by Osama Hammad, seeks to enhance cooperation and coordination with the General Command to enhance security surveillance capabilities and enhance the capabilities of security services.
Interior Minister Essam Abu Zeriba discussed on Monday with the Director of the Security Affairs and Technical Support Department at the General Command, Major General Fouad Al-Rayani, ways to enhance cooperation in the technical and security aspects.
Discussions focused on developing the security sector technically and technically, improving surveillance capabilities, identifying persons, and providing technical support to all security departments and agencies.
The Security Media Office at the Libyan Ministry of Interior said in a Facebook post that this cooperation will effectively contribute to combating crime and ensuring the security and stability of the country.
At the end of the meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Interior in Benghazi, Abu Zariba expressed his interest in strengthening joint security cooperation between the ministry and the General Command, developing security technologies, and providing technical support to all security departments and agencies, with the aim of enhancing efforts to combat crime and maintain the security and stability of the country.
