The National Meteorological Center in Libya issued a warning about strong winds expected to reach speeds of up to 30 knots along the western coast of the country on Tuesday.
This warning coincides with temperature fluctuations that may reach 44 degrees Celsius in some areas.
The Ras Jadir to Sirte area will witness clear skies with the possibility of fog appearing late at night, while areas such as the Gulf and the Benghazi Plain until Amsaad expect northeasterly winds to be active tomorrow evening.
Meteorologist in the regions of Al-Jufra, Sabha, Ghat, Ghadames and Al-Hamada expected clear skies with southeasterly winds turning to the north by Thursday.
This warning comes at a time when the country is preparing for a heat wave affecting most regions, with the Center stressing the need to take the necessary precautions to confront weather fluctuations.
