The Libyan Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development has confirmed its intention to hold the 12th Tripoli International Book Fair this year, after a 10-year hiatus.

The Libyan Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, Mabrouka Al-Toghi, confirmed to the “Our Government” platform of the Government of National Unity, the ministry’s intention to hold the exhibition according to the schedule prepared for exhibitions, noting that the exhibition will translate the return of cultural life to Libya, and that conditions have become ready and suitable for Libya to embrace many cultural and artistic events and activities.

On the sidelines of her participation in the Cairo International Book Fair, Toghi discussed with international, Arab, Egyptian, and Libyan publishers’ unions the establishment of the Tripoli International Book Fair, and ways to enhance cooperation between the ministry and the unions.
