The 2024 Libyan House of Representatives has kicked off at its headquarters in Benghazi and is scheduled to discuss eight items on its agenda, according to House of Representatives spokesman Abdullah Belhaq.
At the top of the items that the Council will discuss is the proposal of the national reconciliation project, the second item is the discussion of the draft law to reduce witchcraft and sorcery, and the third item is devoted to discussing the laws of the Social Security Fund.
MPs are also discussing the draft law on the protection of the Arabic language, the draft amendment of some provisions of Law No. 11 of 2014 establishing the National Anti-Corruption Commission, the announcement of the restructuring of the National Council for Public Liberties and Human Rights, and the formation of the Radiological and Nuclear Regulatory Authority.
