Misrata International Airport in Libya received the first EgyptAir flight, coming from Cairo International Airport, after a hiatus of more than 10 years.
“EgyptAir” posted on Facebook that flights between Misrata and Cairo are scheduled to be a weekly round trip.
Last October, Misrata International Airport received the first cargo flights (cargo) of “EgyptAir”, marking the launch of the second air cargo line with western Libya, after a hiatus of several years.
“EgyptAir” operates 15 flights a week to Libya, seven to Benghazi, seven to Tripoli and one to Misrata.
