The League of Prisoners of the Jamahiriya announced its final withdrawal from the Libyan reconciliation file, according to a statement.
The organization expressed its rejection of the mechanism for distributing seats between political parties, while condemning the participation of the Grand Mufti of Libya, Sadiq al-Ghariani, because of his role, which it described as one of the causes of sedition and incitement to fighting.
According to the text of the statement, the Association of Prisoners of the Jamahiriya System confirmed that it had received information indicating the existence of conspiracies hatched in secret to exploit the reconciliation file from a member of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, for the benefit of one party and not the other.
The League affirmed that Saif al-Islam Muammar Gaddafi is its sole representative, categorically rejecting any move contrary to the interest of the mass system and stressed the need for unity and cohesion under his leadership.
