The interim Government of National Unity has announced the settlement of the Libyan state’s commitments in all international political institutions.
This came during the second regular meeting of the 2024 Committee for the Payment of Libya’s Contributions to International Organizations, in the presence of a number of directors of international cooperation offices in ministries and government institutions.
During the meeting, they reviewed the contributions paid during the year 2023, through which the commitments of the Libyan state were settled in all international political institutions, most notably the United Nations General Assembly, the African Union, the Community of Sahelo-Saharan States, and the Arab Maghreb Union, as well as a number of other economic and technical institutions.
The technical team of the Telecommunications Holding Company gave a light presentation on the system of contributions to be implemented in all ministries, through which the movement of payment of contributions is followed up in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
During the meeting, the contributions for the year 2024 were reviewed according to the forms prepared by the committee and the contributions that met the conditions were approved in order to pay the entitlement.
