The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Libyan government-designate, Abdelhadi Al-Hawij, stressed the importance of speeding up the opening of direct air and sea links with Morocco.
Al-Hawij’s statement came during a meeting with the Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco, Said Benkirane, at his office in Benghazi, on Tuesday.
The Libyan minister pointed out that Moroccan airlines continue to communicate with his ministry to restart direct flights between Libya and Morocco, and the importance of facilitating the granting of visas to Libyans for the purposes of study, work, and others.
For his part, the Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco expressed his country’s readiness to strengthen cooperation with Libya in various fields, especially in the field of investment and urban development, stressing the importance of facilitating procedures for Moroccan investors and providing them with support in investing in Libya.
