Libya’s production increased on a monthly basis to 1.167 million barrels per day in February, compared to 1.023 million barrels per day in the previous January, an increase of 144 thousand barrels per day, according to OPEC’s report on the oil market.
Nigeria’s production reached 1.476 million barrels per day in February, compared to 1.429 million barrels per day in January, an increase of only 47 thousand barrels per day.
OPEC’s total production in February reached 26.571 million barrels per day, an increase of 203 thousand barrels per day from January, when production reached 26.368 million barrels per day.
Algeria saw an increase in its supplies from 911 thousand barrels per day to 918 thousand barrels, while Saudi Arabia’s production increased from 8.962 million barrels per day in January to 8.980 million barrels per day in February.
Venezuela’s production also saw an increase from 804 thousand barrels per day to 820 thousand barrels, as did the United Arab Emirates, where production rose from 2.926 million barrels per day to 2.933 million barrels.
On the other hand, Iran’s production witnessed a decrease from 3.163 million barrels per day in January to 3.148 million barrels per day in February, in addition to the decrease in production from Iraq and Kuwait by 14 thousand barrels per day and 8 thousand barrels per day, respectively.
