The Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Walid Al-Lafi, participated in the opening session of the 3rd Saudi Media Forum held in Riyadh from February 19 to 21.

“The state media in Libya has become more based on the concept of government communication, highlighting cultural diversity and achieving direct communication with citizens,” al-Lafi said during a ministerial dialogue discussing the role of Arab media in facing transformations

Al-Lafi stressed that the Libyan Government of National Unity has tried to reflect the concept of government communication in all aspects of state media through 7 basic strategies, stressing the need for the communication task to be strategic at the heart of government media and not just complementary.

On the sidelines of the Saudi Media Forum, the Future of Media Exhibition will be held, and the events will include the Saudi Media Forum Award, with the participation of more than 150 international speakers in more than 30 dialogue sessions discussing media issues and its future in the Arab region.
