A Libyan delegation headed by Al-Taher Al-Baour, charged with managing the affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, participated in the second consultative meeting on enhancing coordination of peace initiatives and efforts in Sudan.

In his speech at the meeting held in Djibouti, Al-Baour stressed the importance of finding a solution to the Sudanese crisis, stressing the rejection of external interference in Sudanese affairs.

Al-Baour urged the Sudanese parties to immediately cease fire and allow the entry of urgent humanitarian aid. He also called for launching a comprehensive dialogue aimed at returning security and stability to Sudan.

Al-Baour stressed that Libya stands alongside the Sudanese brothers in all circumstances, with the aim of achieving peace and ending the ongoing conflict in Sudan.

Al-Baour expressed Libya’s full support for the efforts made to achieve security and stability in brotherly Sudan.
