The Prime Minister-designate of the House of Representatives, Osama Hamad, arrived in the city of Sebha, accompanied by Belkacem Haftar, Director General of the Development and Reconstruction Fund, to supervise the launch of a series of important reconstruction projects.
The visit comes as part of the government’s efforts to inspect the ongoing progress in the city’s health, security, educational and service facilities, including the Sabha Medical Center, which is currently undergoing comprehensive maintenance work.
During the visit, the delegation toured a field tour that included a number of strategic sites, where Hammad announced the start of work on several projects aimed at reviving infrastructure and enhancing stability in the region.
The visit also focused on improving basic services for the residents of Sebha, emphasizing the importance of these projects in advancing local and national development.
The start of reconstruction work in the municipalities of Sebha and Murzuq was announced on May 26, 2024, after a series of technical meetings with the municipality of Sebha and the relevant technical sectors.
