The Libyan Joint Security Room denied the withdrawal of its members from the Ras Ajdir border crossing with Tunisia, after social media pages circulated a video showing cars leaving the crossing, said to belong to the chamber.
The chamber said in a statement on Facebook on Tuesday that the cars that appeared in the clip did not follow it, adding that the attempt to throw its name comes within the framework of spreading discord and inciting chaos.
The statement stressed that things are going well at the port, as the head and members of the chamber visited him to assess the situation based on the instructions of the Minister of Interior in the Libyan Government of National Unity, Imad Trabelsi, and in coordination with the Chief of Staff of the forces affiliated with the unity government.
The chamber explained that it will prepare a report on the port in order to make arrangements for its reopening, in coordination with the Army General Staff.
