Libya ranked among the 10 most miserable countries for young people around the world, according to the World Happiness Index.

According to the index, Libya is also among the countries that suffer from a large gap between the happiness of young people and adults.

Libya ranked 50th in terms of happiness of older age groups, with a difference of 30 degrees, ahead of Algeria, which has a difference of 31 degrees between the happiness of young people and adults.

The rate of unhappiness among Libyan youth is alarming, and there are various factors that do not allow young people to be happy, such as concerns about employment, wars, government policies, climate changes, economic responsibilities, depression, and feelings of loneliness.

The country with the largest gap in happiness between younger and older generations is Mauritius, with a difference of 57 points between the two generations.
