The head of the outgoing Libyan Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, received a series of condolence messages from international leaders following the death of his son, Abdul Rahman, who recently passed away after suffering from illness at the age of 36 in a hospital in Turkey.
The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Tunisian President Kais Saied, and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic expressed their deepest condolences to Dbeibah and his family in this painful circumstance.
The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Djibouti, Mohamed Youssouf, in addition to the interim US Ambassador Richard Norland and the Italian and French ambassadors, sent similar messages of sympathy, expressing their wishes for Dbeibah and his family to be patient and comforted.
The Egyptian businessman Naguib Sawiris also sent a message of condolence to Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, expressing his grief and condolences.
