The head of the municipal branch in Jaghbub, Driss Touati, said that the area is cautious calms after clashes between a family and battalions of the General Command forces in Jaghbub, near Tobruk.
The clashes resulted in the death of a young man and the injury of two, Touati said, noting that there are efforts to calm down.
He added that the director of Tobruk security arrived in Jaghbub accompanied by the tribal coordinator at the city’s General Command, accompanied by a delegation to follow up on developments and calm the situation.
According to local sources in Jaghbub, south of Tobruk, the clashes were due to a security point searching a car carrying a family, which was coming to the area to offer condolences.
