The ship “Tulip” arrived at the port of Benghazi, coming from the port of Cartagena, Spain, on Monday, carrying 10,000 sheep and 248 head of cows.

According to the media office of the Libyan interim government, the veterinary teams of the National Center for Animal Health at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock immediately began conducting a veterinary medical examination and examination, in order to match the health certificate attached to the shipment with the health status of sheep and cows.

The office pointed out that this shipment comes as part of the government’s efforts to support food prices, based on Prime Minister Osama Hammad’s pledge to stabilize the prices of meat products, and provide them to Libyan families.
