Taher Al-Baour, in charge of managing the affairs of the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a meeting with Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen to discuss lifting the no-fly zone.
The meeting came on the sidelines of the twenty-first session of the meetings of foreign ministers of African and Nordic countries, where the two parties discussed the importance of resuming direct diplomatic work from the capital, Tripoli.
Danish companies specialized in the fields of renewable energies were invited to participate in development projects in Libya.
The European Commission banned the passage of planes belonging to Libyan airlines over the airspace of EU member states on December 11, 2014, under the pretext of safety controls in Libya, which has witnessed security tensions.
