Al-Ahly Tripoli fans stormed the headquarters of Salam TV channel during the broadcast of the program “There is Still Good in Us”, which led to the interruption of the live broadcast.
This storm came in response to the channel covering the events of the 80th anniversary of Al-Ittihad Club, which included songs and chants that Al-Ahly fans considered an insult to their club.
The audience interacted widely on social media platforms with the video clips showing the storming, as many expressed their dissatisfaction with the incident, stressing the need to show sportsmanship and respect freedom of the media.
Salam TV issued an official statement apologizing to the fans and supporters of Al-Ahly Tripoli club, explaining that there was no intention to insult the club or its fans.
The channel stressed its commitment to neutrality and mutual respect between all clubs and their fans, expressing its regret for any inconvenience resulting from the coverage.

The relationship between the two clubs is often competitive, especially in football matches, as the confrontations between the two teams are considered a “derby” that receives wide attention from fans and the media.
