In the early hours of Tuesday morning, the city of Sabha witnessed violent and bloody clashes during which 3 people were killed and dozens injured, following an armed attack on the criminal investigation headquarters.
The clashes began after the attack of the 101st Battalion, under the command of Ahmed Al-Shamekh, and affiliated with Saddam Khalifa Haftar, on the headquarters of the Criminal Investigation Service in Sebha, to smuggle the head of the Fuel Committee, Salah Al-Hassi, who was arrested on orders from the Public Prosecutor.
Eyewitnesses said that the attack failed to smuggle Al-Hassi and resulted in the killing of 3 people: Mahdi Ali Yahya Al-Sulaymani, affiliated with the 101st Battalion, Adam Ibrahim Rahma Al-Hasnawi, and Ibrahim Abdel-Razzaq, affiliated with the Sabha Criminal Investigation Department.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that the members and members of the 101st Battalion withdrew after failing to smuggle the head of the Fuel Committee, who was arrested by a decision of the Public Prosecutor on charges of theft, after military and security support arrived at the Criminal Investigation Headquarters in Sabha.
