Russian language courses were launched at the universities of Algiers 2, El Oued and Biskra at the open learning centers of the Russian Ministry of Education.
Students interested in learning Russian, which will run until June 2024, are taught by four participants from the humanitarian project “Russian Teacher Abroad” and two master’s degree holders from Russia’s Naberezheny Chelny Pedagogical University.
The decision to open the Russian language learning center came under an agreement between the University of Algiers 2 and the Russian State Pedagogical University “Naberezny Chelny”, where registration is open for those wishing to learn the Russian language from various disciplines and universities in order to teach this language in addition to learning about the culture and history of this country.
