The mother of French football star Kylian Mbappé, Fayza Al-Ammari, announced her willingness to take legal action against Paris Saint-Germain, her son’s former club, due to non-payment of financial dues estimated at 80 million euros.
Al-Ammari previously described Mbappe’s departure from Paris as a “divorce,” referring to the controversy and complications that accompanied their negotiations with the club, in order to pay end-of-season bonuses and two months’ salary.
She made her statements to Le Parisien newspaper, where she emphasized the seriousness of her position, explaining that if there was no other option, she would resort to the judiciary, and expressed her hope that the contract that was signed two years ago would be respected.
The 25-year-old Mbappé left Paris Saint-Germain after his contract expired last June and moved to Real Madrid on a five-year free transfer.
