The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, issued his approval to host 1,000 pilgrims from around the world during the current year 2024.
This measure comes within the framework of the “Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques” program for Hajj, Umrah and visitation, which is supervised by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance.
Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Abdul Latif Al-Sheikh announced the measure, explaining that the program hosts 1,000 prominent Islamic figures from Islamic elites, sheikhs, and scholars, as well as influential figures in the Islamic world, with the aim of performing Umrah and praying at the Prophet’s Mosque.
Al-Sheikh praised the great support received by the ministry, praising the Kingdom’s efforts in spreading the values of the Islamic religion and combating hatred and extremism, and called for “God to reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince with the best reward for their great efforts in serving Islam and Muslims.”
At the end of his statement, Dr. Al-Sheikh wished the Kingdom continued blessing of security and prosperity, and may God accept the Umrah of Umrah pilgrims, stressing the importance of unity among Muslims and commitment to the teachings of Islam.
