Those responsible for Air Force One discovered the disappearance of some of the belongings of the plane, as President Biden’s escorts were contacted during his recent trip to return what was disappeared.
According to the British newspaper “The Guardian”, an employee of the White House met with a White House reporter on a secret mission near the statue of Andrew Jackson in Lafayette Square, but the task was not to leak conversations on Air Force One, but to hand over an embroidered pillowcase from Air Force One by the reporter in question.
According to Politico, a member of the U.S. Air Force crew told the White House travel office that a trip to the West Coast in early February ended with many objects disappearing from the press booth.
An email was sent to reporters, with a message saying: “Hi, if you accidentally end up taking something from the plane by mistake, we can help facilitate a quiet return.”
“NBC’s” Kelly O’Donnell, president of the White House Correspondents Association, issued a brief reminder that taking things from Air Force One is not allowed, and that goods stamped with Air Force One logos can be purchased commercially.
