Ittihad Jeddah Club announced on Tuesday that it had signed Algerian player Houssem Aouar, who recently joined from Italian Roma, with a contract extending until 2028.

This is the first deal for coach Laurent Blanc’s team during the summer transfer period.

Aouar, 26 years old, began his professional career with Lyon in France, where he played 233 matches and scored 41 goals. Last season, he moved to Roma, where he scored 4 goals.

At the international level, Aouar played one match with the French national team, but last year he decided to represent the Algerian national team.
