Knesset member Aryeh Eldad stresses that Egypt still poses the greatest threat to Israel.
In statements to Channel 7 Israeli news, Dad warned that the era of major wars is not over yet, pointing out that Egypt poses a significant threat to Israel, describing the capabilities of the Egyptian army in the Sinai Desert as formidable.
He reiterated that Israel must consider adding the option of war with Egypt to the imminent threats, due to Egyptians’ strength and behavior .
He stated that although Israeli military officers were informed that the era of major wars had ended, the events of Saturday, October 7th, proved that they should assess enemies capabilities, not just their intentions. Therefore, Egypt could pose a significant threat to Israel.
