Israeli embassy in Egypt sent a “letter of thanks” to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, following the release of Israeli detainees held by Hamas.
A statement issued by the Israeli embassy in Egypt via “X” website said: “We thank Egypt, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Egyptian security services for the great efforts and endeavors they exerted in the process of releasing the kidnapped Israelis and their return to Israel.”
President El-Sisi wrote on his account on “X” platform: “I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to His Highness Prince Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, for his efforts and work team, which were integrated with the Egyptian efforts to complete the humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip and the success of the exchange process of prisoner and detainee .” “I look forward to more joint cooperation to meet the aspirations of the brotherly Palestinian people and establish a comprehensive and peace in the region.”
Emir of Qatar Princw Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani commented on President El-Sisi’s tweet saying “ Thank you, Your Excellency President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi for your efforts. We highly appreciate the fruitful cooperation between the work teams of our two countries in the framework of achieving a humanitarian truce in Gaza.”
