Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian said during his meeting with Libyan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health Ramadan Abu Jinnah in the capital Tehran that his country attaches great importance to relations with Libya.
Abdollahian pointed to the possibility of including a joint committee between the two countries, in addition to holding a meeting between businessmen to promote trade exchange.
During the meeting, Abdollahian stressed the possibility of forming a joint health committee between Iran and Libya, with a focus on strengthening cooperation in the field of medical exchanges, expressing optimism about the progress of relations between the two countries, noting the possibility of implementing the agreements between them quickly.
For his part, Ramadan Abu Jinnah expressed his satisfaction with his visit to Iran, stressing the existence of strong relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Libya over a long period, and called for strengthening these relations, especially in the economic and medical fields.
This meeting comes within the framework of the two countries’ efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation and expand common understanding in various fields.
