Algerian boxer Imane Khelif qualified for the women’s welterweight final at the Paris 2024 Olympics, after defeating the defending champion, Thai Jan Jaim Suanping, in the semi-finals.

With this qualification, Khelif secured a gold or silver medal, demonstrating her strong performance and great determination in the tournament.

Khelif overcame her Italian competitor Angela Carini last week and scored a remarkable victory over Anna Luca Hamori in the previous round on Saturday, and these victories came to highlight her strength and seriousness in the competition.
