Russian Ambassador to Libya Haidar Rashid Aghanin called on the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Sadiq Al-Kabir, to visit Moscow to open horizons of cooperation and communication with the Russian Central Bank.
This came during a meeting in the capital Tripoli, which dealt with the economic and financial situation in Libya, according to a statement by the bank on its Facebook page on Monday.
Al-Kabir reviewed the role of the Central Bank in maintaining financial sustainability, the need for an integrated economic and development vision through the private sector, and the importance of agreeing on a unified budget for the year 2024.
