Morocco is a leading model in the fight against terrorism and extremism, according to a poll released by the French Institute of Public Opinion (IFOP).
The poll, published by the Institute on its official website under the title “French vision of the terrorist threat”, showed that 61% of French people support the efforts made by the Kingdom of Morocco in its fight against extremism and terrorism.
Israel tops the list of countries most exposed to “terrorist” threats, according to the French, with a response rate of 82%, followed by Belgium (77%), the United States (76%), the United Kingdom (75%), Germany (74%), and Egypt (66%), along with Canada and Morocco, with 53% of those surveyed considering them to face threats from extremist movements.
The poll showed that the countries that represent a potential “terrorist” threat to the French are Iran (74%), Syria (73%), Afghanistan (71%), Iraq (69%), Pakistan (58%), Algeria (54%), Turkey (50%), Tunisia (44%) and Qatar (37%).
