Major General Sherif El Mawardy, Chairman of the Egyptian General Authority for Exhibitions, announced the organization of the “Made in Egypt” exhibition in the Russian capital, Moscow, in 2025.
The exhibition aims to promote Egyptian products in foreign markets and increase the volume of Egyptian exports.
This announcement came during the preparatory conference for the Arab-African Investment and International Cooperation Summit, which was held today at the Egyptian Authority for Exhibitions.
El Mawardy explained that the upcoming exhibition will be held in cooperation with the Arab Women Investors Union, on the sidelines of the annual summit of the union.
He revealed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Egyptian Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences and the Arab Women Investors Union, which aims to exchange data and enhance trade exchange between Arab and African countries and support Egyptian exports to these markets.
El Mawardy stressed that the Egyptian Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences represents the Egyptian government in granting licenses to hold internal and external exhibitions, noting that the exhibition industry plays a major role in promoting exports and driving the economy towards achieving sustainable development.
Al-Mawardy pointed out that the Arab-African Investment and International Cooperation Summit will be held in Aswan Governorate from November 11 to 15, 2024, and will serve as an economic and investment platform to enhance trade exchange and cooperation between Arab and African countries.
Al-Mawardy concluded by emphasizing Egypt’s pivotal role in the African and Arab region, and its great interest in the role of women in social and economic mobility.
Egyptian-Russian relations are considered strategic and solid relations, as the two countries have historical relations that extend back decades, and some of the prominent aspects of these relations include military cooperation, economic cooperation, politics and diplomacy, tourism and cultural exchange.
