Unidentified gunmen killed two customs officers and wounded two others in an attack targeting them in a designated area on a busy highway.
The attacks come a few days after five other customs officers were killed in the same area, raising concerns about security and stability in the region.

An area police official, Mohammed Adnan, said the employees were performing their routine work when they were shot by unknown assailants, killing two and wounding two others.
The border areas with Afghanistan have seen an escalation in violence in recent years, with attacks particularly targeting security and police officials, raising concerns about the continued deterioration of security in the region.
Police are currently investigating the circumstances of the attacks and trying to uncover who was responsible, in a bid to enhance security and restore stability in the affected area.
