Egyptian Official Gazette published Decree No. 234/2023, appointing well-known businessman Ibrahim El Argany as a member of the National Authority for the Development of the Sinai Peninsula.

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi issued a Presidential Decree, following the approval of Defense Minister Mohamed Zaki , appointing Head of Union of Sinai Tribes Eng. Ibrahim El Argany, as a member of the National Authority for the Development of the Sinai Peninsula, which is considered a public economic body that reports to the Council of Ministers Presidency.

Eng. Ibrahim El Argany is the Chairman of Board of Directors of Misr Sinai Company, Abnaa Sinai, Misr Sinai For Industrial Development and Investment and Chairman of Board of Trustees of Sinai General Trading Co. WLL.

El Argany called on Sinai tribes on November 30, 2017, to form a union of tribes to support the Egyptian army and police forces against terrorism.
