Egypt’s Attorney General orders investigation into leaked clips of “Al Tagamoa Butcher” case
The Attorney General ordered the immediate start of investigations into the publication of these clips, as this act may constitute two crimes punishable by Article 75 of the Criminal Procedure Code and Articles 187 and 310 of the Penal Code.
The Public Prosecution explained that those in charge of managing the websites that broadcast these clips will be interrogated to find out how they obtained them.
The Public Prosecution issued a stern warning against publishing such materials, as this may lead to the crime of disclosing investigation secrets and influencing judges and public opinion.
The Public Prosecution affirmed its determination to firmly confront these crimes, pursue their perpetrators, arrest them, and bring them to urgent criminal trial.
This case was widely followed in the media and caused a great deal of controversy in society. Video clips related to the case were leaked on social media, raising concerns about the impact of these leaks on the course of justice and the rights of the parties involved.
