In a strange incident, a young Egyptian woman breathed her last after ingesting a toxic substance in the village of Barajeel in Giza, after a live broadcast she went out to announce her last will.
Egyptians have been busy on social media during the past hours, with a video clip that did not exceed 30 seconds, in which the late “Rehab” appeared to recommend a final demand before committing suicide.
The girl said she chose this method to end her life because she hates accidents, recommending that those who watch her prevent her mother from wailing on the day of her funeral.
She also asked people to tell her siblings that they were her most precious possession and appealed to her friends not to leave her mother alone.
The young woman spent four nights struggling with death inside the toxicology department of Kasr Al-Aini Hospital, due to ingesting a toxic substance after the video was published, until she breathed her last in the hospital on Thursday evening, according to local media.
Local media reported that there is a case behind the suicide, as Rehab, or the “Barajeel girl” as she knew in relation to her region, received in early March, the news of the murder of her fiancé by her former fiancé, which led to the imprisonment of the first and the burial of the second.
Her family’s attempts to relieve her failed, until she took a grain pill to suffer a sharp drop in blood circulation, and all attempts to save her failed.
