Egyptian media reports stated that the prosecution ordered the criminal trial of the child after he caused the death of a doctor and injured another in a collision accident while driving a vehicle in the Fifth Settlement Police Department area.
The Public Prosecution received a notification on July 13 of the accident, which resulted in the death of a doctor and the injury of another while they were crossing the public road. The prosecution immediately began investigations and heard from eyewitnesses to the incident.
Police investigations confirmed the veracity of the incident, which prompted the prosecution to interrogate the accused child, who confessed during interrogation to committing the accident, which led to the decision to refer him to trial.
