Egyptian artist Haitham Shaker topped the trending list on the “X” platform after his concert at the Golden Palm Resort as part of the Benghazi Summer Festival, attracting audiences and leading to requests to organize another concert dedicated to young people.
The concert was primarily aimed at families, as it received wide interaction from the audience who expressed their admiration for Shaker’s performance and interaction on the “X” platform, where the hashtag #Haitham_Shaker_Summer_Benghazi was widely circulated.
Fans described the concert as “full of joy and fun,” stressing that they “became fans of Haitham Shaker’s art after this unique experience.”
Shaker concluded the concert by performing a group of his famous songs amidst direct communication with the audience who chose the songs, and the song “Ahoun Alaik” was among the songs that received special admiration, which led to the concert being extended until the early hours of the morning.
The Egyptian artist Haitham Shaker was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 1983. He started his artistic career at a young age and released his first song titled “I Swear by God” in 2001. He holds a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering and is a graduate of the Higher Institute of Arabic Music in Egypt.
Haitham Shaker was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in the colon, which caused him to lose a lot of weight. At the request of doctors, he stayed away from singing for five years during his treatment journey.
