The Egyptian delegation participating in the thirteenth African Games in the Ghanaian capital, Accra, succeeded in achieving first place in the competitions that were held from 8 to 23 March.

The Egyptian delegation won 192 medals, including 102 gold, 47 silver and 43 bronze.

With this achievement, the Egyptian delegation broke its previous record in the last edition of the African Games hosted by Morocco 2019, when the Egyptian delegation won 94 gold medals.

Egypt participated in the 2023 All-Africa Games, with a mission of 390 players, coaches, and administrators in 20 games.

Games included arm wrestling, athletics, badminton, basketball, beach volleyball, volleyball, boxing, chess, hockey, handball, judo, karate, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, weightlifting and wrestling.
