The Egyptian delegation continued to win more medals during the thirteenth edition of the All-Africa Games held in the Ghanaian city of Accra until March 24.
The Egyptian delegation has succeeded in obtaining 158 various medals so far, including 91 gold medals, 36 silver medals and 31 bronze medals.
In the karate and table tennis competition, Egypt won 12 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 4 bronze medals.
Egypt’s players succeeded in raising their tally in taekwondo to 4 medals, with gold, silver and two bronze.
In arm wrestling, Egypt won 19 medals, including 14 gold, four silvers and a bronze medal, topping the table in arm wrestling competitions.
As for judo, the Egyptian national team ended with 9 medals, including a gold medal, a silver medal and 7 bronze.
The players of the Egyptian badminton team succeeded in achieving 4 different medals, including a silver medal and three bronzes.
Egypt’s weightlifting team also finished the championship with 36 medals, including 27 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze medals.
Egypt’s women’s beach volleyball team won the gold medal after defeating Mozambique 2-1 in the final round.
While the medals of the Egyptian swimming team came with 35 various medals, 16 gold medals, 15 silver medals and 4 bronze.
The players of the Egyptian table tennis team won 11 different medals, including six gold medals, two silver medals and three bronze medals.
In chess, Egypt achieved 6 various medals, 5 gold medals and a silver medal, in wrestling, Egyptians won 18 various medals, and in table tennis 11 various medals.
