Foreign Ministry spokesman Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid commented on Monday on the circulation of some media outlets pictures of the damage to the Egyptian embassy in Khartoum.
Abu Zeid said through his account on the platform “X”: It is unfortunate that some media outlets circulated old pictures of damage suffered by the Egyptian embassy in Khartoum during the armed confrontations raging in the Sudanese capital
The Foreign Ministry spokesman added: “The event dates back to months ago, and Egypt sent at the time, in coordination between the foreign ministries of the two countries, a committee to inventory the damages at the uninhabited headquarters and devoid of any important documents.”
The media published photos said that the process of burning and destroying the headquarters of the Egyptian embassy in the Sudanese capital Khartoum and the destruction of all contents, during clashes between the Sudanese army and the rapid intervention forces.
