New El Alamein shines with distinguished musical events during the second session of its annual festival, which began on July 11 and continues until August 30.
The festival is held at the “El Alamein Arena” stage and brings together an elite group of the most prominent singing stars in the Arab world, led by singer Mohamed Mounir, who opened the events with an exceptional performance that lasted for 120 minutes.
The list of artists participating in the festival includes Kazem Al-Saher, Magda Al-Roumi, Tamer Hosni, Hani Shaker, Rami Gamal, with the participation of musicians Omar Khairat and Amr Diab.
Other artists will also participate, such as Hamza Namira,” Masar Egbari”, “Cairokee Team”, and Egyptian rapper Wiggs, who will conclude the concerts on August 30.
It is noteworthy that the festival administration allocated 60% of the concert profits to support the people of Gaza and the injured in Palestine, in a step that reflects the festival’s commitment to social and humanitarian responsibility.
In addition to concerts, the festival includes various activities targeting all ages, including the “Nabta” festival for children under the supervision of artist Ahmed Amin, which aims to develop children’s mental abilities through educational and entertainment activities.
In a statement to media personality Mona Abdel Wahab, the general coordinator of the festival, she confirmed that New Alamein will also host theatrical performances in cooperation with the Saudi Entertainment Authority, which will enhance the city’s position as a major cultural destination in the Arab world.
The New Alamein Festival is one of the largest entertainment events in the Middle East and was launched for the first time on July 13, 2023. In addition to the arts, it includes various sports tournaments such as beach soccer, rowing, badminton, triathlon, padel, and RC aircraft displays.
