Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry says that what is happening in Gaza undermines international law, indicating the presence of double standards in the ongoing conflict.
According to what was reported by “Cairo News” during his statements in “a dialogue session that included the foreign ministers of Egypt, Jordan, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, in the American capital, Washington, about “developments in the situation in Gaza and the efforts made to stop the war,” that the current situation in the Gaza Strip can’t continue, pointing out the necessity of stopping hostilities.
He recognized the need to resolve the conflict and that it is in broader terms, was also connected to the issue of occupation.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah said that the Ministerial Committee Assigned by Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit aims to provide a safe path to peace and bring about real solutions (in the Palestinian issue). He said during the press conference: “Our primary goal is to stop the terrorist attacks on Gaza. There is a need for a significant and immediate increase in the aid provided to Gaza.”
Jordanian Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi, confirmed that “the situation in the West Bank is boiling,” noting that this war will not bring peace and security to Israel, but rather will be a path to more wars and destruction.
